How we got here
At an early age, my dad introduced my siblings and I to waterfowl and deer hunting. Local legends such as Bob Pegg and Jim Schefter dialed me in, not only to wildlife habits but also hunter safety, landowner relations, and respect for the critters we hunt.
My highschool years didn’t look much different from my childhood, except that now I was able to drive, fill my own tags and skip the classes that got in the way of the important things in life! I somehow made it to college and then the University of Guelph to pursue a degree in Agriculture. However, the allure of the wild stayed my priority and the degree I eventually earned took the backseat behind my hunting and trapping adventures.

My passion for wildlife at an early age led me to share it with others and without realizing it, I became a guide. My season would run out if I filled my tags too quickly, but I learned that I could stretch out my season by taking friends and family out hunting to fill their tags as well. Even greater than my own hunting pursuits and accomplishments - are the ones that I have been able to share with others.
The Guide
In 2016 I had the chance of a lifetime to work for Mike Ukrainetz, owner and operator of Mike's Outfitting. Western big game hunting was only a dream for me until that point and the possibility of a full time career in the hunting industry began to become a reality. I’ve made some incredible memories working with and for Mike guiding all kinds of Western big game. With his ongoing help, I began to run a handful of wolf hunts and in 2023, I purchased my first big game allocations. Going forward, I plan to keep doing what I’ve been doing since I was a young fella - guiding and sharing outdoor hunting adventures every day of the year that I can!
I’m stoked to take you on that journey as I continue to outfit and guide hunts.
